Ahead of its fifth, untitled studio album, Four Tet (DJ and producer Kieran Hebden) is hitting the road for a North American tour. The U.K. act's most recent release, Ringer, hinted at a livelier direction in sound than past efforts. That EP was a journey from chilled-out folktronics to minimal techno territory, with Hebden using what sounded like a heartbeat to pulse out a rhythm on "Swimmer."

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday.
