If you can't get enough Halloween, you can celebrate the holiday a week early at Live 105's Spookfest: Subsonic Halloween Massive 2013. The radio station's electronic dance music program Subsonic has grown from a specialist weekend show to the inspiration for a giant, arena-sized party for nearly 20,000 people. Current EDM stars like Australian act Empire of the Sun, DJ duo Nervo, and Sebastian Ingrosso of the now-defunct titans Swedish House Mafia will control the sound system, but the real stars will be in the audience. The sight of so many people reveling in big bass drops and scary hooks would be impressive on its own. Just wait 'til they're all decked out in crazy costumes.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
