Knives Out

Wednesday, May 9 2007
In the first bout of the high-toned "Battle of the Chefs" series, Kunihiro Kinda (of San Francisco's Hime) pits his Japanese fare against the Bronx-Italian stylings of Joseph Manzare (Zuppa, Pescheria) in the slick kitchens of a department store. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
