San Francisco's party nightlife has been dominated recently by a surge in multi-headliner extravaganzas. One of the venues driving the movement is 103 Harriet. The club's upcoming party features the rhythmically experimental antics of Four Tet (a.k.a. Kieran Hebden), who has been enjoying the spotlight following a string of high-profile remixes and FabricLive 59, his installment in London club Fabric's respected DJ mix series. Adding weight to the bill is DJ Thomas Bullock (he of Rub N Tug and Wicked fame), bringing a set of old-fashioned sarcastic disco madness served in the style of his recent single, "Scanners Live Edit." Also on deck are Jus Wan, Shawn Reynaldo, DJ Dials, Chris Orr, Eug, and Ryury.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
