Felix Da Housecat: Show Preview

Chicago DJ and producer Felix Da Housecat has been an international ambassador of American dancefloor quirkiness for a couple of decades, owing to an over-the-top personality and consistent technical skills. Birthed in the late-'80s acid house scene, he darkly twisted the minds of young ravers before his music morphed into cheekier electro-robotics. His most recent album, He Was King, is an unabashed ode to the soul, electronic, and rock influences he wears prominently on his sleeve, including the hyper-specific "We All Wanna Be Prince." As a frequent silent collaborator on Diddy's dance-oriented tunes, he has also influenced a pop heavyweight.
