If cult appeal is a barometer for success in DJing, then Harvey Bassett (a.k.a. DJ Harvey) ranks with the best of them. The L.A.-by-way-of-U.K. DJ has spent a large part of the past 30 years rocking dance floors and raves with his broad-minded, iconoclastic style. Along the way he became friends with Larry Levan, held a residency at the Ministry of Sound, and single-handedly made disco cool again with his Black Cock re-edits series. More recently, Harvey's been releasing music as Locussolus, while continuing to DJ the insane Sarcastic Disco warehouse parties in L.A.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
