It's hard to imagine the city of Berlin without Dixon behind the controls. However, it might very well have come to pass. The multi-faceted East Germany-born house DJ was on the fast track to soccer stardom before his injuries pushed him toward a life of long hours spent in super-clubs. The years after reunification would see him land residencies in some of the city's most prestigious venues: E-Werk, Tresor, The WMF Club. But don't let that pedigree fool you, his style is unique for someone from the techno metropolis, with an aesthetic tempered by his infatuation with the melody and rhythms of house. Like Innervisions — his groundbreaking label — Dixon is known to get pretty far out there. Here's a rare chance to join him.
