Career-wise, Dillon Francis is in an enviable spot. The 25-year-old Los Angeles resident has only been in the producing game since 2009 (tireless tastemaker Diplo gave him his break), and he's both one of the rising names in dubstep and a leader in moombahton, the bubbly reggaeton/house fusion that's swiftly gaining popularity on dancefloors worldwide. Francis has opened for dubstep royals such as Nero, Flux Pavilion, and Skrillex, and collaborated with popular electronic titans Calvin Harris and A-Trak. Just last month, he was put in charge of an official remix of Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie," having already applied his touch to tracks by Death Cab, Steve Aoki, and Gym Class Heroes. His first album is due later this year.
