Chris Taylor: Show Preview

Wednesday, Oct 5 2011

There appears to be very little that Chris Taylor can't do. He's the face of Grizzly Bear, a Brooklyn-based quartet that makes folk music so delicately catchy that even Jay-Z is a purported fan. In his downtime, Taylor stays busy producing records for artists like the Morning Benders and Twin Shadow, the Dominican nu-pop singer, whose 2010 debut was full of lulling, streamlined new wave. It is a testament to his versatility that Taylor — who will release his own solo debut under the pseudonym CANT this fall — has also worked with omnivorous art-rockers TV on the Radio.
