If you’re anything like me, you have been bemoaning the fact that you never made it to Pink Zebra
, the much-celebrated pop-up in the Mission’s Tin Yao
restaurant. As rave reviews amassed, higlighting chef Jesse Koide’s omakase menu and dishes like hurricane popcorn with pig ears, I promised myself I would make it in — once I tried the 100 other places that had just been added to my ever-growing list.
But alas, on June 27, just nine months after Keode and team had moved into the Tin Yao space, they moved out. But you know what they say about all good things: they must pop up in other places.
