Husband and wife owned-and-operated Muracci’s Japanese Curry & Grill is expanding to Berkeley with its third location. The exact address was not disclosed, but according to the duo it will be located on Telegraph Ave, very close to the UC Berkeley campus (Go Bears!).

The size of the new location will be larger than the FiDi establishment, allowing room for a “few more menu items," which are still being worked out. The curry, which simmers for 20 hours to make for some of the thickest, creamiest and tastiest around, will obviously stay, but there will be some new lunch specials that will appeal to the student crowd.

Permitting permitted, the owners are hoping to open sometime in the middle of August.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
