Two delays and a group of protesters later, the Safeway Recycling Center at Church and Market has been evicted as of Thursday, Hoodline reports.

In a move to better parking conditions and eliminate curbside recycling, Safeway wanted the facility run by SF Community Recyclers back on Sept. 6, 2013. A settlement was reached by the two players and the eviction date was moved to June 30, 2014.

Once the recycling plants refused to leave its home of 27 years, the grocery store called on the City's Sheriff Department to take the trash out -- which they did July 17 after a group of protesters attempted to guard the land from Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
