There's something about a good deal that really gets me excited. I enjoy finding one, and I love sharing the discovery. So when I was on a run down Valencia the other day and saw this sign, I just had to share.

Seven measly little Washingtons for a full-sized 13" Napoletana pizza margherita. That's more than half-off the regular cost. It makes no sense, but it's legit: a bright red sauce made from San Marzano tomatoes topped with milky fior di latte and fresh basil leaves on a crust made with 00 flour imported from Caputo baked in an oven made with sand from Mt. Vesuvius. It's the real deal.

And if you're feeling like a big spender, you can upgrade to the creamier buffalo mozzarella for an extra $3 or add their famed silky pesto sauce for an extra $7.

This deal is only offered between 4-5 p.m. on the weekdays and 11 p.m.-midnight on Friday and Saturday nights, the most imperfect and perfect times (who eats pizza at 4 p.m., and who doesn't want to eat pizza buzzed between bar-hopping on Valencia at 11 p.m., respectively?).

Follow @streetfoodsf for all things delicious.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
