You read that right -- Bar Agricole has $6 sandwiches during lunch. I'm not so sure you can even find a burrito for $6 these days.
The sandwiches change based on leftovers from the previous night's dinner--given Bar Agricole's dinner menu, you can trust your sandwich will be delicious. Past sets have included roast pork, rapini, horseradish and mustard, or cedar plank salmon with cucumber and tapenade.
Last Friday they had a vegetarian sandwich that contained tomatoes, cucumber, eggplant, and these perfectly cooked meaty artichokes that were tossed in a turmeric yogurt. It' was served in between two sour slices of Josey Baker Bread spread with tangy goat cheese. It was delicious.
You can get the sandwich from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until they run out) Tuesday through Friday.
