Unless you want to water the grass at Dolores Park with what's left of your 40, be wary of patrolling cops in the next few days, especially with the beautiful weather forecast.

SFist reported Wednesday that SFPD has been asking people to get rid of their drinks. The reason for the action is unknown (besides it being completely illegal, of course).

Although the reality of police asking all park patrons to empty their cans and bottles over the crowded weekend seems unlikely, don't say we didn't warn you. Don't be surprised if they ask you to put out your cigarettes too.

If you're going to do it, enjoy your public booze on the down low.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
