In its annual video holiday card (you may remember the one last year, with the staff food fight in Dolores Park), Delfina has used a combo of time-lapse and real-time footage to show a day in the life of the restaurant. The magic starts at 4 a.m., when the pasta is made while the city sleeps. Then deliveries arrive, firewood is stocked, onions are chopped, herbs are prepared, pizza dough is measured and formed, desserts are prepared, wine is tasted, tables are set -- and that's all before service.

Go, watch. It's a mesmerizing look at the world that goes into a restaurant every single day.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
