The ever-popular San Francisco staple first opened its 18th Street doors to hungry Missionites on November 19, 1998. To commemorate its fifteenth birthday, Delfina is throwing four celebratory dinners.

On Tuesday, November 19, the Delfina team will hold their (official) Anniversary Celebration and Benefit Dinner. The evening promises dishes such as gnocchi with prosciutto San Daniele, seared diver scallops with black truffle zabaglione, and risotto Milanese with oxtail sugo, as well as long-cellared wine selections including those from Produttori di Barbaresco. All net proceeds from the evening will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

And never the one to show restraint, Delfina is also hosting its annual White Truffle Dinners on Monday, Thursday, and Friday of that week. For those three luxurious evenings, guests will have the opportunity to add the truffles to any of the nights' dishes inspired by the Piemontese delicacy.

The adjacent pizzeria will be partaking in the celebration with their "Anniversario" pie, decadently topped with Fontina, mozzarella, a farm fresh egg and 5 grams of shaved white truffles.

Reservations are still available but as per usual, are going fast. They can be made by calling 415-552-4055 or visiting http://delfinasf.com/restaurant/reservations.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
