Nine former employees filed a lawsuit today against Fisherman's Wharf restaurant Joe's Crab Shack, on behalf of themselves and other aggrieved employees on the grounds of unfair business practices dating back to 2008. Allegations against restaurant management include wrongful termination, unpaid wages, lack of sick leave and health insurance, and missed state-mandated meal and rest periods; when employees complained about mistreatment, they were allegedly fired.
The 31-page complaint also includes allegations of managers throwing away parts of employee staff meals, and using racial slurs against employees.
