Ryan Maxey and Ian Begg recently expanded their Naked Lunch café into the space where they formerly operated Txoko restaurant, which they shuttered on New Year's Eve. The former Enrico's space has morphed into somewhat of a sports bar, complete with pool table and basketball hoop shooting game. The kitchen is now open for both lunch and dinner, with a new burger ($10) on the menu.

SFoodie enjoys a burger that retains a good amount of juice and requires opening your mouth a little wider than usual to eat it. We didn't specify how we'd like it cooked and it turned out a very juicy medium that is elusive to capture.
The other secret weapons here are the grilled onions, glossy bun, and -- perhaps most importantly -- a manchego cheese crisp that's placed on top of the burger. It provides a crucial crunch that not even bacon can match, and still satisfies the craving for something fried.
Knowing Txoko's well-documented predilection for serving foie gras before the ban, we asked Maxey if maybe there was a secret topping we could get on the burger, but to no avail.
