Former Bar Tarine chef Chris Kronner's making burgers these days, and they aren't your average burgers -- they're served rare (like, bloody rare), on a hearty bun, and with a slather of cheddar aioli, and a dollop of bone marrow if you so choose. Last night we had the pleasure of eating one at a fundraiser event at Bar Tartine, and if the line out the door and down Valencia was any indication, KronnerBurgers are about to hit the big time.
Kronner has been serving KronnerBurgers and other delicious things at Bruno's in the Mission since Thanksgiving weekend, and will be for a while, until he opens his own burger joint next year. Check out the menu, and stop by Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30 to 8 p.m., and Sundays and Mondays from 6 p.m. until late. It's the holiday season. Indulge.
