We love pop-ups and temporary chef nights, but we hate keeping track of them. Every few weeks we'll bring you a list of the best upcoming events -- all you have to do is mark your calendar.

Tango & Stache Pop-Up

Where: Asiento, 2730 21st St. (at Bryant), 829-3375

When: Sun., Sept. 9, 5-11 p.m.

Cost: $4-14 (items available à la carte)

The rundown: After its pop-up debut last month at Dalva, chef Joshua Wilder Oakley (who has cooked at Gary Danko, Michael Mina, and Bar Bambino) brings his Tango & Stache concept to Asiento to sell Negroni pulled pork sandwiches, "white boy slaw," German potato salad, and more.

CommonWealth Beer Fare

Where: Hawker Fare, 2300 Webster (at 24th St.), (510) 832-8896

When: Sun., Sept. 9, with seatings at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 p.m.

Cost: $55 (purchase in advance via Eventbrite)

The rundown: Oakland's CommonWealth Cafe was felled by a big fire in July and is getting ready to reopen soon, but you can catch the crew in the meantime in this special six-course meal with beer pairings, a collaboration with Hawker Fare chef Justin Yu, brewers Adam Lamoreaux and Kel Alcala, and Beer and Soul cicerone Sayre Piotrkowski. Menu highlights include smoked trout salad with asparagus and hop vinaigrette, paired with Urban People's Common Lager, and Shepherd's pie with Heinz baked beans and Kno-Town Brown.

Bopjip Pop-Up

Where: Bouche, 603 Bush (at Stockton), 956-0396

When: Sun., Sept. 9, with seatings at 6 and 8 p.m.

Cost: $35 (purchase in advance via Brown Paper Tickets)

The rundown: Korean caterer Bopjip offers a three-course meal via counter and communal table seating at Bouche. Expect to be served hamul pajeon (mixed seafood pancake), kalbijjim (braised short ribs), and a brownie and strawberry parfait for dessert.

Tasty Tastemaker Pop-Up

Where: Uniqlo Pop-Up Experience, 117 Post (at Kearny)

When: Thurs., Sept. 13, 6-9 p.m.

Cost: Free to contest winners (enter for a chance to win here)

The rundown: Chef Danny Bowien, who moved to New York earlier this year to open the first East Coast outpost of S.F.'s Mission Chinese Food, returns to talk about and demonstrate examples of his "Americanized Oriental food" with the help of MCF's sister restaurant Commonwealth. This is part of a series of multimedia pop-up events to help the Japanese retailer Uniqlo publicize the launch of its forthcoming store in Union Square.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
