Craft beer has come a long way in Bay Area restaurants. Thanks to local chefs such as The Monk's Kettle's Adam Dulye and The Homebrew Chef, the phrase "beer dinner" no longer raises eyebrows. Neighborhoods are increasingly serviced by brew-centric bars, bottle shops, and restaurants with a knowledgeable beer service staff. Soon, the streets will run golden with pilsner and city water fountains will spew IPA (we're still consulting with city planners on that last part).
China Basin is one neighborhood that has solidified itself as a beer destination. With proximity to the ballpark, the evolution is a no-brainer. Anchored by 21st Amendment and Public House, the area has a constantly rotating selection of beer available on draft and cask. To this list, add Twenty Five Lusk, one of the city's most gorgeous destinations to grab a pint. The restaurant offers a well-priced beer and food flight menu in the bar and lounge, typically available the last two weeks of the month.
