The rundown: For those morning people or with afternoon outings, start the day off with bottomless Mimosas ($12/person) and Parmesan Egg "Open Face" Sandwich with crispy Niman Ranch pork belly, English muffin, and tater tots with black truffle sauce ($16), Dungeness Crab Frittata with tomatillo salsa, and organic greens ($16), or a Grilled Flat Iron Steak & Poached Egg with creamed spinach, steak fries, and whole grain mustard beef jus ($20) at Chaya Brasserie. Follow it with a stroll (or nap) on the waterfront.
Father's Day Japanese Whisky Tasting

Cost: $100 includes entry for two and a bottle of whisky, tickets available online
The rundown: If your pops loves whisky, get him over to the special tasting that includes a history of the spirit in Japan and the West through a series of barrel samples and comparative tastings with western whiskies. Suntory's Neyah White will guide you through and explain the processes that make Japanese whiskies so delicious and unique. Price includes entry for two adults and a bottle of Hibiki 12 year Whisky (a $65 value). This event is close to selling out, so grab your tickets!
6th Annual Pig Roast Soiree
Where: Presidio Social Club, 563 Ruger (at Lombard), 885-1888
When: 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
The rundown: The start of Presidio Social Club's summer pig roast kicks off on Sunday with a special Father's Day pig carving class taught by chef Ray Tang at 3pm, followed by the Soiree that includes pork sliders ($1), live reggae music, and plates of the roast pig ($28, includes salad, side, and sorbet dessert). The Hawaiian themed event includes a vintage Hawaiian shirt contest and a Pu Pu Platter Special ($20), includes two signature Mai Tais and tropical island-style snacks. If you're just thirsty, drink specials at the event are $2 draft beers and $5 Mai Tais.
Father's Day Pig Roast at Linden Brewery

When: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
The rundown: The monthly pig roast hosted by Linden Street Brewery and Chop Bar lands this Sunday, and they're going all out. On the food side, $20 gets you a serving of the featured Marin Sun Farms roast pork with sides, but also on hand Fist of Flour Pizza and Tara Organic Ice Cream will be serving up their wares à la carte. A live band will liven up the atmosphere, and pints of the brewery's fantastic beer ($4) will quench your thirst. End with shots of Fernet ($5) to help digest.
