We thought the Inner Richmond's Le Soleil was a goner after it closed for renovations in July. But the Vietnamese restaurant is back -- with a revamped menu and new decor (133 Clement at Third Ave.).
First there was an address. Now William Werner's pending patisserie has a name: Craftsman and Wolves. Grub Street discovered the name on a liquor license, and now Werner has confirmed its true, via a post out the Outfit Generic site.
Over the weekend: The second Sauce has officially opened (56 Belden at Pine). Eater SF notes they marked the occasion by handing out festive beer coozies. Nice.
Speaking of drinks, Eater SF confirms Raven, the new SOMA bar, is open (1151 Folsom at Rausch). Expect happy hour bites from Triptych and Rocco's, dancing, and someone trying to get your number at the end of the night.
Also, you can now grab a steak (and a lap dance) at the new Penthouse Club & Steakhouse (412 Broadway at Montgomery). Our sister blog, the Exhibitionist, has a recap of Thursday's grand opening party.
Construction continues at Farina's pending pizzeria. Eater SF discovers, via Urban Life Signs, they're using familiar looking tiles (à la the ones you find in the BART station -- white, honey-comb design). The opening day, and name, are still unknown.
Food truck news: Hayeswire reports the neighborhood's Off the Grid is expanding to three nights. By the end of April the trucks will be appearing on Octavia at Linden Wednesday-Friday.
