The rundown: Vegans and vegetarians of Berkeley, you have officially been warned. Avedanos' Tia Harrison is leading a discussion on the business and art of butchery with an all star panel of meat artisans and authors. Ryan Farr Whole Beast Butchery, Marissa Guggiana Primal Cuts and Off The Menu, Peter Hertzmann Knife Skills: Illustrated and Morgan Maki representing Bi-Rite Eat Good Food are participating in the panel and will be available afterward for a book signing.
The event is taking place inside Revival Kitchen's private dining room and is open to the public. House cured meats and other snacks will be served along with one of Revival Kitchen's signature cocktails. Pistolero is its unique version of a margarita using black sea salt as a garnish.
