Cheeses and Breads

Stop by Mission Cheese and pick up some stinky stuff. Pair it with one of SFoodie's Top 5 Breads in San Francisco and call it a day. Oh, and if you're looking for an amazing dairy cheese alternative, the South Bay's RauOm is making a truly amazing traditional Japanese-style Tofu Misozuke. Spread that on some baguette ,and cheers to the fact that it's almost 2012, our last year on Earth!

Sweets Galore

You can't go wrong with a gift basket made of sweets, so why not load up on some of our Top 7 Local Chocolate Gifts and a dozen cookies from a local bakery. Santa will be very pleased with the glorious bounty this year!

Make your own gift basket!

Combine any of the things above, get a giant basket from Cost Plus or Community Thrift, and go crazy with tissue paper, confetti, and ribbons aplenty. Everyone loves a gift basket teaming with local goodness, and if you they don't, you can take it back and send it straight to SF Weekly. We appreciate you.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
