What: Cafe Prague's Wurst Holiday Block Party

Where: Cafe Prague

When: Fri., December 16, 4-8 p.m.

Cost: Free

The rundown: All the party people who are willing to head into the Financial District at 4 p.m. on a Friday afternoon will be rewarded with discounted beer specials, $3 mulled wine, and $3 grilled sausages with sauerkraut. Cafe Prague will also serve up free BBQ chicken wings from 4- 5 p.m., and there will be plenty of holiday decorations and European music (Hasselhoff?) to add to the festivities. What's more! The first 100 attendees will receive a $1 coupon for Staropramen beer, so their half-liter beer will only be $3.80. How to you say, "el cheapo" in German? Probably something like auf wiedersehen wiener schnitzel guttural noise. Enjoy!

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
