Not the best weather for an outdoor food-truck fest, maybe, but Off the Grid Fort Mason Center is dangling another incentive* for the waterproof who show up at tonight's season opener: T-shirts for Japan. OtG's Matt Cohen tells SFoodie he'll be selling shirts rocking the new Off the Grid logo tonight, with $5 from each going to the JETAA USA relief fund, which is turning 100 percent of donations over to disaster relief (JETAA = the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program Alumni Association). Cost of the shirts is $25. Bonus feature: Use as a rag for drying off rain-slicked folding chairs.

*Besides drinks from the Alembic and food from a slew of new vendors

Off the Grid: Fort Mason Center parking lot, 5-10 p.m.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
