Good Foods Catering Urban Kitchen Italian Winter Dinner

When: Sat., Jan. 22, 8 p.m.

Cost: $45; $65 with optional wine pairing

The rundown: Chef Dontaye Ball, 2010 winner of SF Weekly's "Best Roaming Barbecue," flexes the Italian skills he honed partly at Delfina for his latest underground dinner, featuring communal tables.

Menu highlights: Warm chicory salad with poached farm egg; slow-roasted brisket with white beans and winter vegetables; almond cake with Marshall's Farm wildflower honey.
