Where: Twenty Five Lusk, 25 Lusk (at Townsend)

Cost: In the restaurant: First seating (5:30-7:45 p.m.), $95 for four courses; second seating (8-10 p.m.), $105 for five courses. In the lounge (9:30 p.m.-1 a.m.): open bar with passed hors d'ouevres, $120. The Whole Package: Have dinner in the restaurant, and get 50-75 percent off the cost of the lounge party

Why it's likely to be special: Matthew Dolan's prix-fixe menus have a Vegas-y scale perfectly suited to the ultrasleek visuals. Dress nice.

Menu highlights: Dungeness crab parfait with avocado mousse and wasabi gelee; roasted squab breast and confit leg with ginger purée (second seating only); grilled filet mignon with foie gras torchon and oxtail ravioli; chocolate marquise with gold ice cream

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
