The ninth installment of the Outside In street-food and music parties has been dubbed Outside India: not only Indian-inspired cooking, but beats from DJs Amar, Jimmy Love, and Suresh from popular monthly club

Non-Stop Bhangra. Body movements courtesy of the Dhol Rhythm Dancers.

Organizer Roger Feely of Soul Cocina spent a year as a cooking instructor and chef for a resort on Vainguinim Beach in Goa, India, toward which he often skews his street eats. He'll be joined by Kasa (who's planning to debut a food truck in 2011), Rocky's Frybread, PizzaHacker, Ninja Pie Cart, and Curry Up Now. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Doctors Without Borders.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
