A member of S.F.'s street-food community pitched in to help victims, volunteers, and public safety workers in San Bruno today, a day after devastating fires ravaged residents. Kung Fu Tacos ditched plans to sell in the FiDi today, steering the truck instead to 280 South and a spot across from the San Bruno rec center, base camp for the Red Cross. Kung Fu co-owner Tan Truong tells SFoodie he passed through the crowd, letting people know about the free beef, chicken, and veggie tacos. "We gave out as much as we could," says Truong. "People were loving it." Truong reckons he handed out nearly 100 free tacos (about as many as they would have sold Downtown today). "I think everybody was grateful to see us," Truong says.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
