Our suggestions for the contest: garlic fried plantains from Sunny Vibrations, cactus huaraches from El Huarache Loco, and Korean tacos from Namu. These are three dishes that would require participants to experience three different sides of town as well as some diverse culinary ideas.
This is no joke; serious competitors are expected to CartSpot and also compete in a street-food-centric scavenger hunt, the latter once again hosted by Go Game. Hundreds of teams competed in last year's scavenger hunt, which required rapping, acting, and Photoshop skills to take the ultimate title. This will be the first year for the CartSpotting contest.
