Glamazon blonde drag chanteuse Pollo Del Mar is headlining tonight's Cinco de Mayo/Pollo De Mayo (get it?) party at the Lookout, with beats from DJ Lee Decker. Cinco de Mayo eats (with special pricing): ceviche and a variety of tacos. What the Lookout calls Del Mar's "now infamous Jello shot injectors (to shoot a load right down your throat!)" top a bev list that includes $2 Tecates, $3 Coronas, and $4 margaritas.

Lookout owner Chris Hastings shared a suggestion with SFoodie readers: "The [Castro] farmers' market is right outside our door," he said, "so people can buy their produce and come on in." Mixology fans take note: Hastings and his staff use ingredients from the market for weekly specialty drinks. Only in San Francisco.

Details after the jump.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
