Mariquita Farm's Ladybug Buying Club is coming to town next week and bringing a citrus party in tow. More precisely, tree-ripened "Citrus Party Packs" ($30 for 15 pounds) from Bernard Ranches in Riverside, a fruitpourri of navel oranges, ruby red grapefruit, tangelos, Meyer lemons, and blood oranges. Also available: bottles of the Youk's hot sauce we raved about earlier this week ($7/three for $16) and 40-lb. boxes of navel oranges ($43). E-mail ladybugbuyingclub@gmail.com, indicating what you'd like to buy. Mariquita will confirm the order, which can be picked up at Slow Club (2501 Mariposa at Hampshire) on Mon., March 29, from 5-7 p.m.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
