  • You can tell everyone you spent the holiday at Home.
Way back in September, you made some grandiose announcement you'd be cooking Thanksgiving this year. Now, two days out, you're freaking, imagining a Turkey Day eve spent fishing a rock-solid Butterball out of the Safeway freezer bin. Relax. SFoodie's offering last-minute suggestions even an obsessive procrastinator could be thankful for.

Home Restaurant (2100 Market at Church) is known for two things: extreme comfort food and hearty cocktails -- essentials for surviving any family gathering. This year, don't feel you have to click your shoes and chant, Dorothy-style, to keep the chill holiday vibe going. Kids can eat a traditional Thanksgiving meal for $20, and non-kids for $40 ($55 with wine pairings). Dig in to classics like honey-glazed ham, turkey, and all the fixin's. A veggie menu is also available.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
