Our favorite morsels from the food blogs and beyond.

It's Food Porn Friday (like you need to look at more online porn).

Bunrab chronicles a lunch at Scott Howard's Five in Berkeley. We haven't seen such an aggregation of fried things since our last bucket of Extra Crispy. Dude: Eat a celery stick or something.

Food Gal turns the SLR onto fancy-ass booze-spiked ice creams churned at Los Gatos' Silver Moon (available in S.F. at the Real Food Company). Crème de Mint Chip anyone?

Burrito Justice needed a drool cup to catch the effluent sparked by the grass-fed cheeseburgers and bacon-peanut butter brownies 4505 Meats was laying down at yesterday's Ferry Plaza street-food market.

And finally, Beer & Nosh gets all birds-and-bees over Bison Brewing's Honey Basil Beer and homemade stuffed squash blossoms. Writes Beer: "Think of the inside of the flowers as a vessel, begging to be filled with your flavor combinations." That's what you call hooking up?

Nice weekend, everyone.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
