Let's do lunch:

Grab a table at Ground Zero of Mission gastrocool. SF Weekly food critic Meredith Brody advises lunching on a pressed sandwich filled with Idiazabal and membrillo (lightly smoked Spanish sheep's cheese and quince paste) at Tartine Bakery and Café (600 Guerrero at 16th St., 487-2600).

Drink therapy:

It's mod and sleek like a South Beach club, but with $2 beers, $4 wells, and $6 happy-hour Grey Goose concoctions, it's cheap like a South City tavern: Fluid Ultra Lounge (662 Mission at New Montgomery, 615-6888), 5-10 p.m.

The Giants are off today, but the baseball season happy hour is on: $5 beers and Aussie-tinged bar bites and $6 glasses of wine South Food + Wine Bar (330 Townsend at Fourth St., 974-5599), 3-6:30 p.m.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
