Let's do lunch:

Fill up -- and believe us, it's a gut buster -- on a true local specialty. SF Weekly food critic Meredith Brody says taste the Mission in a super carne asada burrito at Papalote Mexican Grill (3409 24th St. at Valencia, 970-8815; and 1777 Fulton at Masonic, 776-0106).

Drink therapy:

Like a snack run to Trader Joe's, it's all about bargains during happy hour at Luques Bar in the Chancellor Hotel (433 Powell at Post, 248-2475), 5-7 p.m. Not only can you score $4 domestic beers and $5 wells, but print out the online coupon and get two-for-one drinks of any kind.

Someplace less classy, it might be known as a booze bust. But here? They call it the Bacar Break: half off the entire bar bites menu, $2 drafts, and $5 classic cocktails and sommelier wine picks at Bacar (448 Brannan at Ritch, 904-4100) , 4:30-6 p.m.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
