Does

the idea of a hottie in the kitchen get you going? Top Chef geeks and culinary divas of all genders, head to The Cellar at Macy's (170 O'Farrell at TK). Saturday at noon, Macy's Union Square will be dishing out a special LGBT cooking demo featuring Jennifer Biesty and Tim Nugent of Scala's Bistro (432 Powell at Sutter), Janine Falvo of Carneros Bistro and Wine Bar (1325 Broadway at Leveroni, Sonoma), Adam Jones of Market Street Grill (1231 Market at Eighth St.), and Yigit Pura of the chi-chi society Taste Catering (full disclosure: this blogger was once on the payroll). Wondering how to make your home brunch options a little more delish and extra sassy? This pre-Pride culinary cooking party may be just the ticket. Oh yes, they did.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
