As announced during yesterday's Super Bowl, Denny's is offering a free Grand Slam breakfast tomorrow (February 3) from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., available at all locations. Since the Denny's in Japantown left the chain last year and became the dubiously named New Danny's (1700 Post), I wondered if there were any remaining franchises left in San Francisco.

Well, as Denny's aficionados doubtless already know, there are still locations downtown (816 Mission) and in Fisherman's Wharf (495 Beach) as well as one in the Serramonte Shopping Center in Daly City and another in South San Francisco (2220 Westborough).

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
