Name: Cheesecake Crepe Escape

Brand: Trader Joe's

Origin: Monrovia, CA

Found at: Trader Joe's (265 Winston)

Cost: $3.49

Ingredients: Filling (ricotta cheese, strawberries, sugar, vanlla powder, cinnamon), crepe (unbleached wheat flour, pasteurized whole egs, canola oil, sugar, salt)

Calories per serving: 170

Why I bought it: It was a bit of a stressful day and a crepe escape sounded like the perfect break from reality.

Tasting notes: Crepe Escape is also available in quinoa, pizza, and ham and cheese varieties, but this one is great for satisfying the sweet spot; it's sweet but not too sweet. Half is more than enough for one sitting.

Would I buy it again? I tend to enjoy making my own crepes, but I will buy this again in lazier moments.

What other blogs/sites thought of it: This is a brand-new item for Trader Joe's, so there's little written on it so far.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
