Yes, it's now officially the last minute, but luckily is continuing its massive, $3 million Feed It Forward giveaway until the 25th. Register to the site (free) and it will allow you to email three people each day from now until then with $10 gift certificates that may be redeemed at restaurants. This is something that you can send to friends and family outside the state, but if you send them locally there are 178 participating restaurants within 15 miles of the San Francisco zip code of 94117 (which is in the middle of the city, in the Haight area). Some of the local options include Anzu (222 Mason), Bushi-Tei (1638 Post), Helmand Palace (2424 Van Ness) and Zuppa (564 4th St.). -- Tamara Palmer

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
