CAV Wine Bar & Kitchen (1666 Market at Gough) is celebrating the California Supreme Court ruling that overturned the state's ban on same-sex marriage by opening for a reception at noon tomorrow (Tuesday, June 17) so all the newlyweds streaming out of nearby City Hall have a friendly place to knock back a few toasts. Billed as the Summer of Love Redux Party, the festivities -- co-sponsored by Heidsieck & Co Monopole Champagne -- will continue into the evening with DJ Kid Gorgeous at 8:00 p.m. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to Equality California. For info. call 437-1771 or email

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
