The Jessica Seinfeld cookbook plot thickens: Late last year Mrs. Seinfeld was accused of ripping off another book for her own tome "Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food," an allegation hubby Jerry was very forthright in refuting, most notably in an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman where he suggested that the accuser, Missy Chase Lapine, author of the conceptually similar book "The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids' Favorite Meals" was "wacko":

"And, you know, if you read history many of the three-name people do become assassins."

Zing! Anyway, Lapine didn't find it very funny and now the New York Daily News reports that she's suing Seinfeld for defamation. (via Serious Eats)

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
