Duffie is from Texas, doncha know, and wasn't born in Malibu like you might think. She just took to it like a spin class instructor to Smart Water.

This week she wanted to surprise her friends with a real down-home Texas barbecue, so she did what any other debutante might do, and had her dad ship his entire one-ton BBQ smoker from Houston to Cali. She rolled it into her lanai and then brought in a kindly black man who runs an LA barbecue joint to declare the smoker "legit" (as told as an aside to the camera by Haylie).

She was inviting some dudes over and she decided to play a prank: She would pretend that she was only serving vegetables. Kale, no less. HA HA. This week her bestie was the chick from 7th Heaven who played the youngest one. No, not Jessica Biel. Beverly Mitchell (Lucy). Duff has made friends on all of her projects and it seems that all of them are going to be showing up in her kitchen. Get ready for a parade of Lifetime Movie flashbacks!

Haylie applied her dad's spice rub to a giant Seder-sized brisket and didn't even make a Jew joke. WTF. She slow-cooked it over mesquite, a box of which her papa also sent. The ruse was revealed and the guys were relieved they didn't have to eat ruffage, but one guy admitted to really liking her fennel apple salad. (Homo.) Everyone sat at the smorgasbord and chowed down. The end.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
