The New Bay Bridge: The Best of Pedestrian Instagram

Posted By on Wed, Sep 4, 2013 at 9:45 AM

Only 24 years late, the opening of the new eastern span of the Bay Bridge has brought out the masses -- and most of this has been documented on Instagram. Why cross the new span by bike or car without documenting it? Scroll through some of our favorite Bay Bridge Instagram photos we've come across -- it looks as though this Treasure Island-Ikea loop is going to be pretty popular.

Send us a link to your photos of biking, walking, pogoing, hula-hooping, and the likes, across the bridge and we'll share them in a follow-up post.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
