Taking place under the striking curves of the Garden Court at the Palace Hotel, tonight's runway fashion show hosted by BAYFashion Media will feature a diverse mix of several experienced designers from around the world, showcasing their latest goods.

The event has been labeled "CLHS (Coolest Looks & Hottest Styles) 2013," and will highlight this year's Fall and Winter looks and some 2014 Spring and Summer styles.

Some of the headlining designers include power suit specialist and alpha-male outfitter David Heil, with new selections from his David August line; Ukraine-based Felix Rodionov, an alum of Tel Aviv's Fashion Week as well as the slightly less touted 2013 program at Sacramento's Fashion Week; and Sacramento native Maisha Bahati, who has found her niche in bold gowns and flowing, bright bodysuits.

The show is open to 500 ticketed guests, with a glitzy, invite only pre-show where a Lamborghini model new to British Motor Cars is the centerpiece. Expected guests include 50 or more Lambo owners who made the cut, local politicians, and big names, and a cherry-picked selection of Silicon Valley VC's and entrepreneurs.

The runway will sprawl 120 feet in length, traversing through the Garden Court, spilling into the Grand Ballroom and back again. There will be over 100 models in tow, robed in a total of 100 new designs.

The after party packs a punch, as expected, with a mystery top American fashion brand set to reveal its most contemporary collection.

Spoiler Alert: We have it on high authority the mystery designer will be Marc Jacobs.

The Palace Hotel: 2 New Montgomery (at Market), May 3, show at 8:30 p.m. Tickets for sale at bayfashionmag.com.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
